Everyone loves a burger but we forget how many types of burgers there are. These turkey burgers are a firm favourite and are a nice, lean alternative to red meat. You can eat it on it’s own, use a lettuce wrap or serve over a salad. Add some veggies on the side or maybe some cheese, smashed avocado or tomato, or all of those together!
Ingredients
- 500g minced turkey
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp flaxseed (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1.
Combine all of the ingredients apart from the oil.
2.
Create burger patties with your hands.
3.
Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.
4.
Add the burgers and cook until golden, about 5 minutes each side.
