Soak your skewers for around 30 minutes. This will prevent them from burning.

Cut your steak into relatively equal pieces. Marinate in half of the pesto for around 30 minutes.

Drizzle some olive oil (1½ tbsp) over your veggies and toss to ensure a char.

Thread your skewers, alternating the ingredients.

Prepare your BBQ, or bring a grill pan to a medium high heat.

Add your skewers, turning often to achieve a char on each side.

Cook until done to your preferences, around 15 minutes.

Spread the rest of the pesto over the skewers and serve.

Spread the remainder of the pesto over the skewers and serve.
