More likely than not, my first meal of the day is a protein smoothie. It is the perfect balanced meal and so easy to make. Sometimes I even have one for dinner or whenever I’m on the go and don’t want to be tempted by something that won’t help my goals.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your favourite milk)
- 1-2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 cup frozen berries
- 1.5-2 scoops of a clean protein powder (my favourite is vital proteins collagen peptides)

Throw all of your ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth!
