Kimchi Beef Stew

This recipe is so simple! Just throw everything into a slow cooker, and come back to a delicious meal!
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced 
  • 450g beef, cut into chunks 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • 200g kimchi 
  • 1 tbsp sriracha 
  • 1 tsp soy sauce 
  • 2 cups water 
  • 1 box of mushrooms

Instructions
1.
Using a sauté setting on your slow cooker or in a pan if you don’t have that setting, add the oil on medium high heat.

Season the beef.

Add the onion and beef and sauté until browned.
4.
Add in the kimchi, sriracha, soy sauce and water. Stir to combine.
5.
Cook on low in the slow cooker for 8 hours.

Add the mushrooms for the last hour.
